Are Pain In Upper Ribs And Across The Chest Signs Of Heart Problem?
Question: Hello
I am wondering if u can give me some suggestions I am having some upper rib pain that comes across my chest under my breasts if feels like an ache but in some spots if I touch it it is sore the pain comes and goes and it is more noticeable if I sit down ... I am wondering if this can be stomach issues as I have been having that full feeling and upset stomach ... Or if it is cardiac
I have been to my dr last week for another issue my blood pressure is 110/70 normal ... My most recent cardiac work up was Es of May of this year and all came back normal

From your discription most probably it is costochondritis. It is not a cardiac issue for sure. We don't see such pain in stomach problems. But if you have stomach complaints as well, most probably you have upset stomach in the same time.

Hello thank u for your response I was concerned because I know women show different symptoms then men ... Being sure this is not cardiac will allow me to have my gp send me to specialist
