Are Painful Sores On The Tongues Suggestive Of Cancer Sores?

Question: I had four or five red sores show up on the underside of my tounge this past Tuesday. they hurt really bad but not all the time. they are not canker sores. I just started a new catering manager job for a restaurant that serves fairly spicy food and I've been eating it for lunch Monday-Friday the past two weeks. I dont eat spicy food usually so am thinking this has something to do with it. I have stopped eating it but now not sure how to cure or sooth these sores. any ideas?
Brief Answer:
Capsule becosules, dento gel for local application, avoid spicy food
Detailed Answer:
Hi
Welcome to HCM
I have gone through your query.
Your symptoms can be attributed to intake of spicy food. Sometimes unknowingly while chewing, some trauma can be caused, which may also be responsible and spicy food adds to the assault.
If possible upload picture of it to assess better.
I would suggest you to avoid spicy food and eat bland food for a week or so. Avoid coffee, tea, alcohol and smoking.
I would have advised you to take capsule becosules once daily for 10 days and along with it, apply dento gel solution to the sore. You will be fine by week.
Hope this helps.
I'll be happy to clear any further doubt.
Take care
