Brief Answer:
they're both contagious...

Detailed Answer:
Hello,

both serratia and pseudomonas can be transmitted to another host. They can infect hospitalized patients after being transmitted to them by the personnel (their hands mostly). Anybody who comes into contact with patients may get the pathogens. Getting them does not mean getting a disease. They may never cause disease but they have the potential to do so under certain circumstances. Washing the hands with disinfectants and keep the room clean is the way to avoid transmission.

I hope it helps!
Kind Regards!
