Hello,
a serious allergic reaction should be avoided at all costs. If the allergic reaction you had in the past was a serious one with hypotension, bronchospasm, etc then avoid anything that could potentially contain any of the allergens. I couldn't possibly know whether the supplement contains the allergen or not but you should not take any risks.
Another reason against its use, is that such supplements provide little (if any) benefit.
