Question: My daughter got bit last night in bed. The bite is three small vertical puncture wounds spaced very close together. Any idea what it was. Thanks

Hi
Thanks for writing to us.
Based on the description it could be large insect or rodent teeth.
You can attach a picture if possible.
I would suggest you take your daughter to ER and get her checked up.
For the time being you can clean the wound with soap and water thoroughly and take her to your doctor.
Your doctor might prescribe rabies vaccine ( if cat or dog bite) or just local antiseptics if other than these two.
I usually prescribe fusidic acid ointment for similar cases in my clinic.
