Question : I am 17 weeks pregnant could the smell of paint, detergents, disinfectants hurt my baby ? as i moved newly to another house and the smell is alll over the place and i need to do lots of cleaning

It is usually harmless but in case you develop certain symptoms like - dizziness, running nose, difficulty in breathing or repeated sneezing episodes.
If you are not getting any of the above symptoms then nothing to worry but still take care of certain things like -
- wear a face mask
- use a vaccum cleaner instead of dusting with a cloth
- avoid moving heavy furniture or luggage
- take adequate rest in between
- wear comfortable clothes and shoes
- wash your hands repeatedly.
