Question : My husband suddenly has red bruised looking upper eyelids. He is a heart patient and diabetic. Should he see a doctor soon about this?

As per your description, it could be due to Infection. But, it has to be confirmed by an Ophthalmologist.
Another possibility is due to anticoagulants.

Thank you for your answer. I wonder if it’s an infection because it is on both eyelids, although I’m sure he touches them back and forth which could spread one. They don’t itch and aren’t swollen. I’m glad it’s nothing to worry about. He’s on many medications including, Trulicity, which he only began a month ago. I will have him check with the eye doctor.
