Question : My doctor has given me a RX for 150 Mgs. Is this cosidered a high dosage or is this an appropriate amount. I just recently changed from Strattera (60 mgs.) and immediately started taking Wellbrium (Spelling?). Could I have your advice? --Or are they similar?
Brief Answer:
Not a high dose
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Welcome and thanks for your query.
Strattera and Wellbutrin are two different molecules and therefore the dose of each would be different from the other. The usual dose of Strattera is 40mg with a maximum dose of 100mg per day. Wellbutrin's usual dose is 300mg per day with a maximum dose of 400mg per day. So the dose of 150 mg is alright to start with.
