Question : Is there any difference in Thyronorm and Eltroxin brand for treating hypothyroid condition.
I switched to Eltroxin 50mcg last month, i see my TSH level has gone up to 2.99. three months back my TSH level was at 2.11 under Thyronorm 50mcg

Hi,

Welcome to HCM. I have gone through the question and understand your concerns.

Both Eltroxin and Thyronorm are two brands of same medication - Thyroxine. (Just like Calpol and Dolo for paracetamol). The TSH of 2.1 and 2.9 is not significantly different. So you can continue with any one medication- Eltroxin or Thyronorm.
