Brief Answer:
no known interactions with common agents

Detailed Answer:
HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

Most cough and cold medications contain antihistamines, decongestants , cough suppressants and mucolytics (medication to break up the mucus if it is a wet cough).

Not all of these would be in each cough medication eg may contain only decongestant or decongestant with cough suppressant etc

(1)Oral decongestants are phenylephrine and pseudoephedrine.

THERE ARE NO KNOWN INTERACTIONS between these decongestants and methotrexate.

(2) main cough suppressant used is dextromethorphan

THERE ARE NO KNOWN interactions between dextromethorphan and methotrexate

(3)different anti histamines may be present

Diphenhydramine (benadryl)
NO KNOWN INTERACTIONS with methotrexate

Chloropheniramine is also used- NO KNOWN INTERACTIONS

(4)guiafenesin (robotussin)- is a mucolytic
Again NO KNOWN INTERACTIONS

Summary: no known interactions with the most common ingredients in cough and cold medications
If you have a cough and cold medication with alternate ingredients , feel free to provide the names so that they can also be cross checked.

I hope this helps, feel free to ask any other questions
