Brief Answer:
FOLLOW THE GUIDELINE. CONSULT WITH YOUR DOCTOR.
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for follow up query.
1) Mild to moderate occasional lower
abdominal cramp or pain is quite common throughout the pregnancy period. It occurs due to uterine contraction (irregular one) and effect of Relaxin hormone. In my point of view, above clinical features are NOT suggestive of
preterm labor if your cervix is closed by pelvic examination or ultrasound scan.
2) Preterm labor is associated with strong, constant, regular, rhythmic uterine contraction or lower abdominal pain with or without moderate watery discharge (leakage of
amniotic fluid). It should be confirmed by your obstetrician through pelvic examination.
Indigestion problem or
constipation can also cause
abdominal pain. Take easy digestible healthy diet with more vegetables and drink more water.
3) To avoid Preterm childbirth, you have to take adequate bed rest 10-12 hrs daily with left lateral position. You must AVOID strenuous activity, lifting heavy object, long journey, uneven surface, high heal shoe, sexual intercourse and more ups & downs. Do periodic check up to your doctor.
As your all reports are normal, then you don't need to worry much. BP should be normal and checked periodically. You can take DROTIN-DS (
Drotaverine) with RANTAC to reduce abdominal pain.
Hope, it helps for your understanding. Let me know, if you need any clarification.
Wish your good health and take care yourself.

Dr Soumen
