Brief Answer:
I would explain as follows:

Detailed Answer:
Hello!

Welcome and thank you for asking on HCM!

Regarding your concern, I would explain that there is little alcohol in the beer.

From the other hand metoprolol does not interact with alcohol.

You should take into consideration that alcohol can act as a central nervous system activator, thus leading to tachycardia. So, it can trigger PSVT.

That is why I would recommend avoiding taking large amounts of alcohol.

Anyway, you can allow yourself a beer time after time, as it has a small amount of alcohol inside.

I would also recommend avoiding coffee and energy drinks, as they can trigger PSVT.

Hope you will find this answer helpful!

Kind regards,

Dr. Iliri
