Question : Hi,
I am on Lexapro 5 mg, Klonopin 5 mg, Solian (Amisulpride 100mg) and Keppra 1000mg. I just would like to know if there is some kind of interaction betwenn caffeine and Solian, taking into account at the same time that Solian is a neuroleptic and that at low dosage it has a dopaminergic effect (maybe there is some kind of synergic effect).
Thanks, XXXXXXX

Brief Answer:
no clinically significant interactions.

Detailed Answer:
Hi Dear XXXXXXX

Biologically, there appears to a be a synergistic effect between low dose solian and caffeine, considering that both increase dopamine levels.

But clinically, there are hardly any noticeable interactions between the two which can affect treatment outcome.
I have not seen any significant interactions between the two in my experience.

Hope this answers your query satisfactorily.

Regards.
