Question : can I use Escitalopram 5mg and Clonazepam 0.5mg for longer poriodsi,e for years togethor?
Brief Answer:
clonazepam can cause dependence.
Detailed Answer:
Hello
Welcome to HCM.
I can understand your concerns.
I would suggest you to take plain nexito (escitalopram) and NOT nexito plus.
Clonazepam, when taken for long term, can cause dependence. It is advisable to take clonazepam for the shortest period possible.
As you will reduce/stop your clonazepam, your sedation will reduce.
Weight gain is the prominent side effect of tolaz (olanzapine). If your symptoms have improved, you can consider discontinuing these two drugs.
Please discuss this with your doctor.
Hope this helps.
Take care.
Regards.
