My son was administered with polio drops of some 10 drops instead of 2 drops as the bottle broke and excessive fell into his mouth. is there any side effects ?

Don't worry , there are no significant side effects . It may cause mild loose motions or fever which will settle in a day or two .

Thank you for your reply. he has got slight loose motion now.
Any medicine to be administered to him ? Any specific food diet to be followed?

Give him more fluids.

HI

It's expected , no need of medicines as long as loose motions is less than 4 times a day.

He can have normal home made food . Give him more water , tender coconut water and fruit juices .

If motions is more than 4 per day then you need to ask your doctor for a prescription of metronidazole and use it .
