Are There Any Suggested Supplements Which Is Recommended To Increase Motality?

Me and my wife are planning to conceive the second child. Currently she is getting treated by a Gynocolgist and this the the second month of treatment as we had been trying over the last 6 months. The doc has prescribed medicines and have asked to have sex during the ovulation window and we are trying to follow the process.
1. Over the last 5 days, before doctor consultation we made out for a couple of days after doc consultation there was a scan and injection and today it was hard for me to ejaculate. Had to take multiple breaks and finally happened.
2. Dont know if I am stressed or exhausted with this. My wife is taking good meds and expecting support during this time.
3. I read online that motality decreases when reaching 40 and I did a semen analysis and checked with a doc on the report and I was advised things are normal. My wife recent report on the Egg health when scanned looks ok.
4. Are there any suggested supplements which is recommended to increase motality, or anything I could take to increase our chances of getting her pregnant from my side.
I am also sharing the semen analysis report. Please advise.
Daily sex frequency may not be feasible for all at the age of 40 years
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Welcome to ASK A DOCTOR.
Thanks for posting your query.
First of all man is not a robot to have sex at any moment.
Sexual desire and erection power will diminish by age, At the age of 40 years, sexual frequency will decrease. One cannot have sex daily continuously 3-4 days. Weekly twice or thrice frequency will be ideal at this age. When the wife demands for sex as per the advice of her obstetrician continuously 3-4 days during the ovulation period, he will feel good on day 1, subsequently desire will be less and he can't complete sex response cycle. One can complete ejaculation only when he he has continuous stimuli and persistence desire. One failure will leads to performance pressure and he can't complete the sex response cycle. Quality of semen is not directly proportion to the sex performance as both hormones are different. Sperm will be viable inside the female reproductive tract more than 24 hours and ovum is viable for up to 48 hours. So daily sex is not a must for conception.
