Brief Answer:
Interactions between Valproate and Lamotrigine
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Although there are no serious side effects or interactions between them, the treating doctor can monitor the levels of lamotrigine closely. It can be significant as Oral valproic acid increases levels of lamotrigine by slowing its metabolism by liver. So he has to titrate dose of lamotrigine.
What do you mean by CBD oil?
If your son is losing mobility, it could be some other reason. Would like to know what is the reason for epilepsy? There could be other co conditions with epilepsy leading to loss of mobility. In my opinion the above drugs may not be entirely responsible
