                                            Question : Hi Dr,
I'm working with ID specialist on my following issue.
http://www.hyyyyyyyyyyyyyy.com/Ayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy?page=yyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyId=350180
I've heard that I need to consult immunologist's advise to focus or rule out other stuff as well. From immunologist or virologist standpoint, what need to be done from my side ?

                                    Brief Answer:
Not concerning. No need to worry.
Detailed Answer:
Thanks for asking on HealthcareMagic.
I have gone carefully through your query (including the other thread) and understand your concerns. Let me assure you that I have a background in immunology and am competent to answer your query. Let me assure you that the results are negative and the CD4 counts are normal (even at its low). I do not see the slightest reason to be concerned. I do not suppose that the tests have failed to detect anything. All that needs to be done from your side is to relax and let go of your worries.
Let me know if I could help further.
Regards

                                    Hi Dr.,
Thank you for your prompt reply. I understand that until HIV antibody or HIV RNA results come back positive, no doctor would tell me that this is HIV.
My main concern is not only hiv tests but at the same time, after 18 months for follow up there are no diagnosis of my symptoms.
If you read my previous thread, I definitely had exposure(s), typical ARS symptoms, and some of which are still present and keeps getting worst
1) tinnitus 24/7
2) Loose stools from 18 months.. when I flush, even some debris remain
3) Internal muscle spasms every hour
4) fatigue
5) short of breathness
I actually had all ARS symptoms and so far, exposure, symptoms, cd4 in actue phase results (1600 to 800 and then recovering) are consistent.
1) Does viral load tests in Metropolis labs are reliable ?
2) If this is not HIv then what would this be ?

                                    Brief Answer:
Anxiety seems to be the culprit
Detailed Answer:
Thanks for the clarification. The mentioned symptoms could be due to anxiety and do not necessarily point to anything. However, if apprehensive, you can continue to get tested till eternity. Viral load tests from Metropolis lab should be reliable.
If it is not HIV it is anxiety. You are definitely anxious and apprehensive and that alone could give rise to the symptoms.
Regards
