
Are Tremors In The Left Hand Along With Issues With The Sense Of Touch A Serious Concern?

Question: I had a bought with brain cancer when I was no older then three or four and now after going through various tests for a TIA OF the brain that took place when I was in my early twenties I have developed symptoms of my sense of touch, in certain fingers of my left hand where I now have tremors of my left hand. I am now 65. Am I developing some type of cancerous lesion of the brain?

Recurrence of same tumor is less common and depends upon type of cancer.
Such a long gap should not be associated with recurrence.
Tremors at this age may occur due to parkinsonism.
Other causes like stroke, metabolic abnormalities requires investigations.
Brain MRI is required in any case.

Chances of recurrence is meager but new tumor cannot be ruled out.
