Please refer attach pictures and let me know these ulcers and bloot clots in moutb is sign of hiv infection.
I have major symptoms coming at 5 mont
Give details about the incident to comment further.
Detailed Answer:
Dear XXXXXXX
Welcome to HCM. I understand your concern and will definitely help you but I need more details about the incident so that I am able to comment upon further.
The mouth and genital ulcers is symptom of HIV but the ulcers in the picture are looking like common mouth ulcers and your test result for HIV was also negative so I don't think they are due to HIV. You can take tablet folic acid for these ulcers. Use zytee or smiley anesthetic gel for local application. If still not helpful, consult physician for further management and follow the advice.
Alleviate the fear and anxiety about HIV because this is also not good for your health. Use relaxation techniques like slow and deep breathing, regular exercises, meditation or yoga to avoid excess stress or tension. You can also consider counselling services or consult some psychiatrist for more help. For any further queries you can get back to me any time and I will be happy to answer you.
Thank You

You already helped me in past case and assaured me that my results are conclusive. I know m anxious due to fear of hiv. No repeated encounter so far after sept incident of protective intercourse followed by unprotected oral(kissing and BJ) with 3 CSW's. That after negative test
37 days
Elisa 1-2 neg
Hep b and C - neg
Hsv 1-2 neg
87 days
Elisa 1-2 neg
Pcr rna <72ul/ml
Hep b and c - neg
Vdrl - neg
Now after 5 months , m experiencing all these issues and hv no clue why these problems are appearing one by one:
1- Extream fatigue ( feeling tired all the time even doing nothing and watching tv)
2- head spins
3- these ulcers , blood clots inside inner mouth
4- breathing discomfort ( like high altitude)
All doctors are saying 3 months are conclusive results for all type of exposures. But inspite of test results these physical issues are increasing.
I met with my internal medicine doc today as well my bp is 127/72 , pulse rate 72 and oxygen level 98.she recommended me below test CBC,FBS, FBG etc.
Dr. Jangid,
My major worry is my family and their security. M sorry for asking samething again and again. Just want to know hiv episode is past for me and i should nd must move on.I damn care about any other disease ( be it cancer, heart attack etc) but if medically m safe than m good and try to cope down all such fears.
Last thing, do you belive i should go for another elisa test at 6 month mark ( phsycologically if require) or not requires at all?
You are free from HIV and no further test is required.
Detailed Answer:
Dear XXXXXXX
Welcome back and thanks for follow-up. I understand your situation very well that is why no need to be sorry at all for asking same thing again and again.
As you said I had already assured you in past that your results are conclusive and 100% reliable then why are you worried so much. The window period for HIV also varies from 15 days to 3 months and the test results after 3 months are definitely conclusive. You can label yourself absolutely safe and risk free.
I know you are worried about your family but you have to forget the past and move on in life because it is just the extreme fear or anxiety causing all the symptoms or troubles nothing else. For the happiness of your family you have to avoid excessive stress or tension because seing you in bad condition is also very painful for them. Your other vital parameters are also normal like BP and pulse.
As such you can consider yourself free from HIV because what all the doctors are saying is absolutely true that 3 months are conclusive for all the types of exposures but still for your mental satisfaction get tested again after 6 months. The result will surely come in your favor and clear all your doubts. Follow the advice of physician for your symptoms and take treatment accordingly.
XXXXXXX my friend if such thing might had happened with me I was also facing same situation where you are right now so I understand your condition very well but as per your test results there is nothing to be worried about. As your friend I suggest you to allay the fear of HIV and don't get too anxious or tensed as it is hampering your health. For any help or queries you can get back to me anytime.
Thank You

Just to update you. That blood blister on pic was appeared yesterday and subsidised at evening.
Currently in my mouth on upper lips there is redness like clot which is also dimimishing and on lower inner lips i can see one apthous ulcer(pic enclosed).

However these days i am caring my XXXXXXX oral and physical but still getting such issues( ulcers started coming from last 3-4 weeks).
What would be the cause of triggering such things, though if i understand is not hiv.If u able to help and suggest.
Secondly this burning mouth, lips et feeling is persistant from 3-4 months.
I am not staying in XXXXXXX and if i need to go for another test , than i need to travel to back to XXXXXXX
Regards
c
No further test is required as such if not possible for you.
Detailed Answer:
Dear XXXXXXX
Your test result is conclusive so as such no further test is required if not possible for you to get it done because it is just routine procedure to get tested at 6 months as per international HIV guidelines.
Apthous ulcer is very common condition affecting the healthy individuals and the cause is not entirely clear but thought to be multifactorial, one of which include nutritional deficiency so don't worry much.
Take multivitamins with folic acid and use zytee gel for burning feeling in the mouth. Avoid tension or stress because it is also one of the causes for apthous ulcer. Be relaxed, you will be fine soon.
Forget all about the bad past that you had faced till now and move ahead in life with your family. Don't think so much because there is nothing to worry in your case. For any help get back to me any time.
Thank You

You are doing a fantastic job as doctor and personally as friend and assauring freaking minds with your amiable suggestions.
Since u have already assaured me alot , hence i am dropping re-testing option of 6 months considering facts of my 87 days negative results ,(all protective intercourse with no condom failures). Since along with you i have read so many forums in last 5 months all doctors Dr.HHH, Dr XXXXXXX from medhelp , Dr XXXXXXX from thebody.com and all my internal medicine doctors considering results conclusive at 3 months (infact considering 8 weeks conclusive for 3rd gen ab test).
I have 3 very nonsence question as last point in this thread-
1- During 3 month period i had 3-4exposures of protected vaginal intercourse with my wife. Hope this has nothing to impact test results and not considered as another exposure during window period.
2- 3 month is the deadline for all type of exposures ( beat high unprotective anal/vag or protective intercourse, oral etc).
3- From last 4 weeks these mild joint pain in legs , weak vision, and ulcers are noting to do with my fears and most likely cause of stress and anxiety. Which i need to address now at upmost priority.
4- Six month guidelines are no longer supported in my case with current elisa and pcr rna test ( vitro eci kit chemoscreenassay) used by XXXXXXX hospital labs. So no chance of any unexpected behaviours and calmly i can engaged unprotected life with my family.
Thanks with lot of respect and regards.
Don't worry you are absolutely safe and risk free from HIV.
Detailed Answer:
Dear XXXXXXX
Welcome back once again.
You had protected intercourse all the times with no condom failure and the test result after 87 days is negative then nothing to worry because the result is definitely conclusive and you are free from HIV.
Don't worry about your wife and protected sex with her has no impact on the test result. It is also true that 3 months is deadline for all the types of HIV exposures so no need to go for any further test.
All your symptoms are due to stress or anxiety not related to HIV. You had truely said that there is no chance of unexpected behaviour and you can lead normal life with your family so be relaxed and stay happy. If still any help needed get back to me any time and I will be happy to answer you.
Thank You
