Further information on tests to help in diagnosis given below
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Muscle twitching can be caused by many conditions ranging from common ones like anxiety to more important diseases of the nervous system.
It is good you have already had several tests done, how were their results? Were them all normal?
What did the doctors think and did they already prescribe something? Are you taking any supplements, Magnesium or other drugs?
There are a few more tests that might be important in your case to help with the diagnosis:
1. Blood tests: electrolytes (Na, K, Mg, H+, CL , etc.), creatinine, ALT, AST, Bilirubin, CBC, ERS, TSH, glucose and lipids.
2. EEG, this is a test that evaluates brain electrical waves
3. EMG (electromyography) and NCT (nerve conduction test) to check muscles and nerves in the leg and arm where you have the symptoms.
I hope this is helpful and gives some direction on further steps for diagnosis. please let me know if I can assist you further.
