Are Vomiting, Dizziness And Frequent Urination Signs Of Pregnancy?

Question : Hi My wife is 28 Years old.We had unprotected sex on 9th of this month till 16th. She got her period last month on 26th. After having unprotected sex she compalined of irritation near her lower abdomen and that was there for the first time and later it was not present after the intercourse (without protection).She was complaining of dizziness and vomiting sensation from few days. Now she has a period on 27th ie., yesterday and she is complaining of dizziness more as the period has started she has frequent urination and alot of urine (This is happening today) . we need to know if she is a pregnant or not?. or is this leading to miscarriage or ectopic pregnancy. we are not sure wat need to be done.please help us if any advice

According to your information, you did unprotected sex during her fertile period and chance of pregnancy is there.

Though, she has gotten her period on 27th, I suggest her to undergo one home pregnancy test or blood test for beta-hCG to clear doubt.

On POSITIVE test, one Trans Vaginal Ultrasound scan (TVS) is advisable to confirm location of pregnancy (Intrauterine or Tubal). It will be worthwhile. You should consult with doctor after that.

We have done home pregnancy test and it is not positive. We did this with Dr.Reddeys velcoit kit and it was not positive. I doubted the result as she is undergoing peroid right now. So i would like to know if there are any other causes of it. If it is negative what is it we are suppose to do. Please do let us know thank u sir.I (husband) used latex condoms does these may be causing any kind of infection to her . This we did before to prevent pregnancy. Thank u please let me know sir

Hello,

Thanks for follow up query.

1) If you have any doubt regarding pregnancy test result, then I suggest you to undergo one blood test for beta- hCG to rule out pregnancy. It is MORE reliable in early weeks.

2) On NEGATIVE test, underlying cause could be Urinary Tract Infection. In that case, one routine urine examination and culture test will be worthwhile. Proper antibiotic treatment may be required according to test result. Kindly, consult with her doctor regarding this.

Other associated factors are mental stress, emotional upset, general weakness, hormonal imbalance etc.

Drink more water or take cranberry juice on daily basis to flush out body toxin. Both of you should maintain genital hygiene properly (before and after sex).

3) Latex condom is very much safe and widely used during sexual intercourse. It has less chance of vaginal infection.
