Question : I have just discovered small white worms in my stools and on toilet paper. I am 8 weeks pregnant. I was wondering what type of worm I have and will it hurt my unborn?

You are reporting to have seen white worms on your stools.
To specify what kind of warms it is you should perform stool test for ova and parasites and after that take the proper treatment.
the warms infection will not affect your unborn.
Don't worry but please perform the stools test and get the proper treatment by your physician.
