Question : Question for a paediatric dentist - Since what age should the dental check up of a child begin? And what are the measures for oral health to be taken other than brushing twice a day?

At 1yr start with check up

Thanks for writing in.
You may start with first dental check- up at 1 yr.Before that clean infants teeth with clean white towel.After 1 yr start brushing teeth with kidodent tooth paste.
Also rinse mouth with water every meal.
Decrease sugar intake & when teeth start erupting take rusk.
Visit dentist every 6 months for check up.
