Question : BLOOD IN URINE THAT LASTED ABOUT 6 HOURS AFTER ABSTINENCE FROM SEXUAL INTERCOURSE FOR NEARLY 3 YEARS. I TAKE ELIQUIS TWICE DAILY.

Eliquis may be a cause of it.

Detailed Answer:
Hello dear,

Being on apixaban eliquis , can make you bleed easily and having blood in urine may be caused by using it .
You should get further evaluated doing protrombin time test and INR.
If apixaban is excluded as a cause of bleeding you may need to do an urine analysis and ultrasound.
