Question : Hi my boyfriend is 6'1 and about 220lbs. His blood pressure was 132/79 and his pulse was 112 is this normal?

Thanks for your query.

The blood pressure of 132/79 of your boyfriend is within normal limits. The pulse rate of 112/minute is on the higher side as against normal range of 70-90/minute.

Besides at 220 lbs he is a bit overweight.

Here I would like to know a few details:-
-Does he have any symptom?
-Was this pulse rate counted at resting stage?
-Is he suffering from anxiety or pain due to pinched nerve?

Please write down with these details and I shall advise you further regarding the increased pulse rate.
