Question : I recently received the results of my blood test and wanted to follow up with a few questions for clarity. Could you please advise me on the following:

Recommendations:

Based on my results, are there any specific dietary changes I should consider?

Should I avoid or include any particular foods

Supplements:

Do I need to take any vitamin or mineral supplements (e.g. iron, vitamin D)?

If so, which brands or dosages would you recommend?

Precautions and Lifestyle Changes:

Are there any general precautions I should take related to physical activity, hydration, sleep, or stress?

Should I monitor any symptoms or get retested after a certain period?

Medication:

Is any medication needed based on my report?

If so, for how long should I take it and are there any side effects I should be aware of?

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

Thanks for writing back

Yes, the cholesterols are a bit deranged. Triglycerides are high, this can be due to excess carbohydrates consumption. As i said earlier its better to cut on simple carbohydrates like sugar jaggery etc as much as possible
HDL which is considered as good cholesterol is on the lower side, Consumption of omega 3 fatty acids will correct the issue. Omega 3 are rich in Nuts, fish and flax seeds.

Vitamin D deficiency can be corrected by supplementation with Cholecalciferol 60,000 units taken weekly once for 8 weeks followed by monthly once for 8 months.
