Question : hi
i am 23 years old girl, i didn't have sex
i am worried about my hymen because i can't marry if i am not virgin this is our culture
i masturbate by rubbing the clitoris with my finger and without entering anything in the vigina i'm doing this for about two months
today i saw drops of blood in my under ware almost in the same palce i was rubbing
is that blood from the hymen, and if not, what is this blood?

Thanks for the query.

A test of hymen integrity is definitely not the best to declare a woman virgin.

The spotting can be from the hymen as continuous irritation can cause ulceration and bleeding. This irritation can be from any normal activity of the woman from riding bike, jogging etc.

Now for your symptom of spotting, you need further tests like vaginal examination by Gynecologist, your complete urine analysis. Meanwhile watch for the amount of bleed.

I have long nails

Masturbation can break the hymen but a doctor can confirm whether it is broken or not.
You van examine yourself by keeping a mirror and opening your vulva with two fingers and if you see a ring shaped tissue at vaginal opening then it is intact.
If broken hymenoplasty or repair can be done.
