Question : Recently I had bloodwork done. Results showed abnormal antinuclear antibodies. The neurologist said this indicates an autoimmune disorder. He has made an appointment for me to see a rheumatologist. I am curious to know your opinion if my symptoms match sjogren syndrome. Extreme dry mouth and throat that causes frequent choking and difficulty swallowing, interstitial cystitis, interstitial changes in lungs, frequent diarrhea and digestive problems, autonomic disorder causing extreme fluctuations in blood pressure, exercise intolerance, dizziness increased heart rate. I have soreness and pain on the inside of elbows and knees not due to injury, frequent migraines, back and neck pain, mental fog and memory problems., peripheral neuropathy,

Brief Answer:
The symptoms seem to be related to Sjogren syndrome.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,

I agree with the neurologist that the symptoms can be related to an autoimmune disorder.
Dry mouth and difficulty in swallowing are common symptoms of Sjogren syndrome.
Other common symptoms can be frequent migraine, mental fog and dizziness.
Abnormal antinuclear antibodies can confirm the diagnosis.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
