Question: My daughter had a baby 18 hours ago and needed two pints of blood this morning, Is that normal, and of any major concern?

Hello,

This is not entirely normal.She must have lost lots of blood during delivery.
I guess you need to speak to her doctor about this.You will also have to check what was her hemoglobin before delivery to know whether she was anemic to begin with.
