Thanks. Is anything of less effect when misoprostol taken orally instead og vaginally?My wife has taken mfepristine on 07th july 9am. On 9th july 6am she has taken only one pill of misoprostol oroally. She is feeling minor cramp and minor bleeding. How to take rest three pills on what duration? Please advise. Urgent.

Hi there,

She should take one pill orally every 4 hourly maximum of 4 doses.

If XXXXXXX bleeding does not occur in 24 hours see a gynaecologist immediately. As in that case a surgical abortion may be required.
