Brief Answer:
The dose is appropriate

Detailed Answer:
Hello

Thanks for the query

The Delcon syrup contains chlorpheniramine(anti allergic) 2 mg and phenylpropanolamine( decongestant) 12.5 mg per 5 ml. The chlorpheniramine is an antiallergic and dose ranges from 0.3 to 0.5 mg/ kg per day.
The average weight of a 3.5 month old baby is about 4-5 kg. So for this weight 3 ml three times a day is sufficient.
The dose is calculated usually from the chlorpheniramine component.
I hope this answers your query.
I will be glad to answer if you have any further query.
Regards
