Brief Answer:
Blood donated is cross matched with the recipient before giving

Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXX,
Thanks for writing in to us.

I have read through your query in detail.
Please find my observations below.

1. A1+ blood group is a branch of A+ blood group. Blood is thoroughly screened before giving it to any patient.

2. The blood collected from you will be cross matched for major and minor reactions before giving it to a recipient.

3. If there is proper match then only the blood is given to a recipient. This is to ensure no reactions take place and there is no harm.

Please feel free to correct any oversight in my interpretation of your problems and discuss them in detail as per your requirements.

Hope your query is answered.
Do write back if you have any doubts.

Regards,
Dr.Vivek
