I can understand your concern.
Yes possibility of pneumonia is more with inhaled corticosteroid.
But if you are rinsing your mouth, doing gargles after inhaler use, then chances of pneumonia are less.
You can also reduce dosage of inhaled corticosteroid (ICS). Currently you are taking 500 micrograms which is higher dose.
You can take 250 micrograms and taper it further to 125 micrograms.
By doing this you are avoiding higher pneumonia chances.
