Can Afrin Or Claritin Cause Erectile Dysfunction?
Question: can afrin or claritin cause ED? I take atacand for borderline high BP as well as daily aspirin and nexium lowest dose. occasionally take small dose of clonazepam for sleep. trying to eliminate all other factors. have had testosterone tested and take a 1ml injection biweekly. no other health issue at my physical

Some antihistamines can cause ED but claritin is not known to cause this problem. Afrin is also not known to cause ED.
ED has different possible causes: (a) hormonal- low testosterone or abnormal thyroid hormone or increase in other hormones such as cortisol
(b) problems with blood supply- this can occur in high blood pressure, diabetes, smoking, heart disease
(c) problems with nerve function in the area- diabetes, back pain causing nerve disease
(d)medications- clonazepam can sometimes cause ED, none of your other meds are specifically known to cause it
