Can Amlodipine Or Pravastatin Cause Balancing Issues?

Question: Can any of the listed Rx cause lose of balance?

balance was much better for 3 weeks after the surgery but now has gotten much worse again. We have called the surger's office. I go for a follow-up Xray on Feb 21.

Amlodipine Besylate 10mg 1 time daily
Hydrochlorothiazide 12.5 mg 1xdaily
Sertraline HCL (Zoloft) 150mg 1Xdaily
Pravastatin 20mg 1xdaily
Metformin 1000mg 2xdaily
Januvia 100mg 1xdaily
Lorazepam 0.5mg 1xdaily

Magnesium 800mg 4 in morning 4 at night
fish oil 1200mg
D3 1000iu
Probiotic multi enzyme
garlic 1000mg
complete multi vitaman

Sorry for the delay in replying.
There is interaction between Benazepril, Metformin, Sitagliptin and hydrochlorthiazide and these can affect the blood sugar. Check the blood sugar when you feel a loss balance to make sure that it is well in the normal range and not low. Also check that the blood pressure in the lying and standing positions to see if they are normal at the time of symptoms.
The common cause of loss of balance in people with diabetes are peripheral or autonomic neuropathy and decrease in the blood flow to certain areas of the brain.
If you believe in herbal medicines, ginkgo biloba may improve the blood flow, improve the neuronal functions and reduce your symptoms.

We did as you suggested, checking blood and blood pressure in both positions. They were both within normal ranges.

I have used a c-pap machine for years. I had a new sleep study done and the office call yesterday saying I now need a Bi-pap because my oxygen level was low. Can this cause my balance problem.

Also in looking at my medication list are the Benazepril Hydrochlorothiazide and the Hydrochloric both water pills. If they are could both be too much?

Volume depletion is possible with two diuretics

There's a difference between between Benazepril chloride and Benazepril hydrochlorthiazide. The latter contains a diuretic in addition. The use of two diuretics can lead to volume depletion and dizziness .
Decreased oxygenation of certain areas of the brain can cause balance problem.
I shall be happy to see your sleep study results .
Losing weight if you are overweight would be a good idea.
