Question : I am taking 100 MG of Doxycycline 2x a day for a cellulitis infection and the recovery seems to have plateaued. I am not due to see my doctor for another week. Can I als0s take some amoxicillin I already have as a booster?

Doxycycline and amoxicillin can be taken together because no drug interaction is reported between the two drugs.

Amoxicillin plus clavulanic acid combination is far better than amoxicillin only.
