Can Augmentin And Pantosec Be Taken Together?

Question: I am taking Augmentein-Duo 625mg along with pentosec for last 3days every 12hours for tonsillitis infection on right side of tonsil which is having swelling with redness, so would like to know the following:
1)The combination of Augmentein625 Duo & Pentosec is advisable
2)As i have taken 5 tablets of the above combination in last 3 days, shall i continue with same for how many more days to subside the problem
3)As there is pain is swallowing so will it also subside after 3 days or more?
4)What is the recommended way to complete the antibiotic course, what happens if its not completed as the medicines are with high potency which also causes dryness with loose motions so minimum number of days for completing any antibiotic couse.
5)In seasonal infections like summer/winter what is the best medicines to cure for kids as well as adults.
6)Is taking every time the same combination can make the body not react to cure the tonsillitis as i am chronic to tonsillitis.

Please provide line by line answer for the same with details.

I have gone through your queries; and giving the answers line by line as below
1. Both combination are advisable.
2. Continue the same treatment for five more days.
3. It will subside after more days.
4. Disease remain residual therefore continue the same treatment and for side effect such as loose motion with this antibiotic you also take the pre and probiotic medicine.
5. Best medicine depend on the culture of throat swab and antibiotic sensitivity.
6. Yes, it can develop the resistance.

Same medicine are effective in both but different in doses

Hi,
I have gone through your follow up query; Same medicine are effective for both; but in different doses. The doses are based on his body weight and other clinical factors which are best determined by a pediatrician.

But for specific antibiotic you and your child go for throat swab culture and antibiotic sensitivity as described above.
