Question : can azithromycin cause painful breast lumps in women?
Brief Answer:
No
Detailed Answer:
dear XXXX, no azithromycin doesn't cause painful breast lumps as a side effect. a painful breast lump can be physiological due to cyclic hormonal changes along the month and this will go away on its own.. or can be due to fibrocystic disease or fibroadenoma.. a mammography is needed to diagnose.. I hope I answered your question and I will be happy to answer any further questions..
