Hi,

This is cough suppressant syrup.

You can definitely take this and see if your cough is improving or not.

Just make sure that syrup has not crossed expiry date.

You should also do warm water gargles and steam inhalation.

And if you are not improving after 2 days of syrup, better to consult your doctor.
