Question : I am taking Buspirone for anxiety and Metoprolol ER Succinate and Triamterene for blood pressure is there any interacions of these meds?
Brief Answer:
increased potassium
Detailed Answer:
HI, thanks for using healthcare magic
In some persons there may be an interaction between the metoprolol and triamterene.
They can both increase the levels of potassium in the body. Increased potassium can affect the rate and rhythm of the heart beat.
Your doctor may monitor your potassium levels to determine if any abnormal increases occur.
There are no other significant interactions.
I hope this helps, feel free to ask any other questions
