Question : My daughter is 6 yrs old, weighs 19.5kg. Her temp is 103. I have given her 7.5 ml of Meftal P.
Her temp is not reducing. Can i also give her 5ml of calpol 250mg every 4 hrs?

Thanks for the query.
Meftal-p contains mefenamic acid used for high grade fever.
If, fever is not responding to it, you can give paracetamol along with it, as the medicines are different.
Also, you can try cold sponging.
Do not worry sometimes if the fever is high it can take 1 to 2 hours for fever to come down after giving medicine.
