Can Capecitabine Be Taken Safely By Someone With Rectal Cancer?

Question: I have just been reading on capeticibine for rectal cancer. my mum has stage 3a. Mum starts chemo and radium tomorrow for 25 sessions then surgery about 6 to 8 weeks after. I am worried about the side effects of the chemo tablet it says it can cause death. Please help me and try to reassure me. Can my mum be cured of this nasty disease? she had ovarian cancer 9 years ago and they say this is not related. I am scared she will get it again

The rectal cancer it's not related with ovarian cancer.They are different

Caoecitabine can have side effects like all the other medication,but that doesn't mine that your mom with have some of them
Your mom with be ok.We are all different in the wey that we react to the different diseases

You have just to fight with her and be patient.

it says capecitabine can cause death I not too worried about side effects as I remember from last time. it's death that worries me. Can mum be cured with this treatment and an operation. What stage do you see this be? I have attached mum's clinic letter
