Brief Answer:
Hi Delores and welcome to HCM
Detailed Answer:
Thanks for the query.
First, these 2 medicines can be taken together and this is commonly used combination in patients whose BP cant be regulated with single diuretic or single beta blocker.
Of course, it should not be taken if you have normal BP. In this case its most common side effect which could happen is hypotension and it could explain your symptoms. Now, you should measure your BP and if there is hypotension, you should lay down and drink 0.5L of water and take something salty. If there is significant BP fall more than 90/60,you need to see doctor as soon as possible. Wish you good health. Regards
