Question : I was prescribed Celebrex 200mg for osteoarthritis, I have also a prescription for vicoprofin from another doctor that treated me for a lower back condition 6 months ago, and I have some left over, Can I take both at the same time while I start the Celebrex, Ive been on Celebrex for 2 days and its not working as good as I thought it would. can I take a VP when needed

Contents of both drugs belong to same group.So dont take them together.This may cause you side effects.

Since celebrex not helping you.Inform the doctor who prescribed it you and also let him know about prescription of vicoprofen.

Doctor is likely to put on single medication that will help both back and osteoarthritis pain.
