Question : My wife is having throat allergy, warmness in eyes but no temperature, though it is higherside normal. Lactating mother. Can she take cetrizine or any other medicine?

Hi and thanks for your query.

Anti-allergic medicines, particularly doxinate, cetirizine and chlorpheniramine, are considered safe during pregnancy and lactation and can be taken. She can try cetrizine. It is non-sedative and will not cause sedation in mother and baby.
