Brief Answer:
Yes it can be taken; mint use will improve taste

Detailed Answer:
Hello

Thank You for contacting HCM. My name is Dr Muhammad Ali Rauf & i will look into your problem.

I have gone through your query and would try to help you in the best possible way. Clarithromycin is an effective drug against a number of bacterial infections. An adverse effect of using this drug is bad taste in mouth. You can take some mint after taking medicine to improve the taste. You can take fiber as well. If taste problem aggravates then you can ask your doctor to prescribe you second line medicine instead of clarithromycin.

Hope I have answered your query. If you have any further questions I will be happy to help if not then don't forget to close the discussion and rate it.
Wishing you good health !!
