
Can Clonzepam Be Repeated For Anxiety Attacks?

Question : I stopped taking .5mg of clonzepam 17 days ago, can i start taking it again? I am having anxiety attacks again.

In case of anxiety disorder, you need both antidepressant and benzodiazepine. If you have continuous attacks and these attacks have been increasing, then you should take an antidepressant like paroxetine. If you have occasional anxiety attacks, then you can take clonazepam 0.5 mg on sos basis. You can also consult your psychiatrist for proper management plan.
