Question : Bit of background:
My partner and I are trying to conceive a baby. We have been trying for about 3-4 months and had a close call this month with her period late but no success in the test.
Over the previous weekend I took cocaine at a party, which I would suggest would have been anywhere from 500-750 milligrams.
My question is, if we continue to try again this month for a baby, which will probably be around 15/16th day of this month, will this cocaine I took have any impact on the sperm that may be laid into her egg?
This is really a once off thing, with the only other time ive had that substance this year on a bucks party a few months ago.
I understand that this substance can affect the levels of the sperm, though is there any evidence that it can actually do damage?
What would your advice be…can we keep trying this month, or should we wait until it clears my system, if so how long would that be?
I just want to ease my and my partners mind.
Thanks

Brief Answer:
This will not affect

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

I understand your concerns.

Taking XXXXXXX on occasions won't harm sperm in anyway. Only the longterm use will affect sperms.

Hence I think it's prudent enough to keep trying for pregnancy without any worries. There will be no negative effect due to this.

Let me know if you need anymore help.

Regards

Thanks for the answer, it puts my mind at ease. I did read somewhere that the cocaine can stick to the sperm and go into the egg and cause issues. If I have another question, can you confirm if you have heard of this theory before or is it just internet rumours?

and sorry one more question if I have one valid, when you refer to long term use, would you consider once a month long term?
