Question : I have taken Diltiazem ERC and Benazepril/HCTZ , and for some time have had higher than normal potessiam
levels in my blood. Could this condition be caused by the above medications?

Regarding our concern, I would explain that Benazepril/HCT is known to cause high levels of potassium as a common adverse effect.

I recommend checking periodically your potassium levels when using this drug.
